Fleece Blanket

A friend's daughter who is now off to college in September, have started sorting out her belongings to take with her to her dorm. I was astonished when my friend told me that she is taking with her her favorite pink fleece blanket that was given to her by her late grandma. Well, it is after all perfect for snuggling with on the sofa or as good as using it as a throw for a bed or sofa. Fleece blankets have become a more popular in recent years for their comfort and homely touch, so I think the girl just wants a piece of home at her new crib for the next five years. Sure there would be times she will come home, but on days or nights that she spends away from home, the fleece blanket could be a life saver for separation anxiety.

There are many different brands of good quality fleece blankets in the market today. So many fleece blankets to choose from. Unlike before, fleece blankets no longer come in solid colors only. There are now a wide variety of colors, designs and even patterns. There are thick fleece blankets as well as thin fleece blankets, which one could actually have a choice of use, depending on the weather. Of course it does follow that thick ones are better in the cold and thin ones during dry or humid seasons. But for kids, sometimes they don't really want to use fleece blankets, except to touch them while they sleep. Although that in itself is a different story.
